Hmmm...

In my 175 with the 70 Yamaha with my fat butt and fully configured with electronics, full fuel - I was able to get 30. On Lake Erie with glass smooth surface with my grossly under weight friend alone and 1/2 tank of gas...34mph.

We both noticed that the 175 gets to 28 very fast but then took some time to get to the top speed.

I like the boat a lot. It's not perfect but no boat is. I think size of the body of water you fish most is going to be the biggest question you must answer first. I took water over the bow in 3-5 foot waves but we didn't have water to our knees. I only fish Erie once or twice a year so it's not much of a problem. But I have no fear about Millacs or Superior but I would be very aware of wave height.

The hours of the TestRide event are 10:00am-3:00pm, but we will never leave anyone waiting.
We normally are set up by 9:30am.
By all means try to make the event, that what these are for.

Default Great Event!!

This is a great event, I did a test ride in an 1860 on Mille Lacs in June, brought my wife and kids everyone had a great time. If your thinking of buying a new Ranger I highly recommend checking it out.

Remember to check out the New Ranger 175T at the Ranger Testride event this Saturday in Rhinelander WI. This may be the only time we will have one available for this TestRide 2012 season. If you liked the 680 or 681 then this a must.

Any questions please call 1-218-255-3535

Default Roadtrip anyone?????

OK, thinking out loud here. I might be able to get Saturday off for good behavior, if the "HRG bus" left the Hoffman Estates Cabelas at 6am, we'd be in Rhinelander about noon, burn some of George Feders gas, and be back to Cabelas about 9-10pm.

Anyone wanna tag along?

I would be there if I could. I am only about and hour and a half from Rhinelander. We are going to be too busy at work here on Saturday. I guess thats a good thing though.

Everyone have a great time and take some pictures!

Sorry you can't make the event Saturday but maybe one of the other locations and dates would work for you.

Can't wait to check out the 175T, talked with a dealer yesterday that has one and he said it really runs out nice. He said the guys that have had the 680 or 681 are all over this new Ranger because of the extra size and H.P.
