OK, going for it, next weekend off to Cabela's and my new 1198, I'll grab the 2.25" ram mount and look at the swing mount set up.

You think the swing mount will be strong enough for a unit that large??

Jason...now would be the time to mention any new models/improvements that are coming out please..

Does the 1198 have the dual cone transducer for the old style depth finder display? never mind.

I had a 2 1/4" ram ball on my Crestliner. I have Ram Swing arms on the new Skeeter.. Having had both, the Swing arms a better way to go, from a support point of view..
