Be aware that this Shoreland'r Extra-Offset spare tire carrier #SM-01-2740 (on Cabelas website as #IK-012740 today) is not well made. I just found that my 5 year old bracket was severly broken and nearly ready to fall off. It could have been a real bad situation for motorists behind me or in oncoming lanes. I think about the remaining bracket and tire going through someones windshield. My trailer does not see rough service and only about 2000 miles per year. DO NOT BUY THIS SPARE TIRE CARRIER BRACKET! IF YOU HAVE ONE CHECK IT FREQUENTLY FOR THE SAFETY OF YOUR OWN RIG AND OTHERS ON THE HIGHWAY NEAR YOU!
