Default Conservation style net options??

What are some of the best net options that offer the "conservation style" mesh bags??? I have one net that is too long for my needs in the boat and another that is a p.o.s.

I purchased a BassPro gold series net last thursday and returned it on Saturday with a bent hoop. I guess they are not designed to hoist a 21" walleye into the boat.

I'd like a bigger hoop with a ext handle that maybe max's out at 60" or so.

Are the frabill conservation style nets good durable nets??? What about their "sportsman" silver handle nets. Picked one up and it seemed pretty light....I was afraid they may not be overly durable as the BP next was light as well.

Are the cabelas line of nets worth a crap???

I also found a Promar Pro-Mesh LN-652 net also. Anyone have any experience with these???

Yup,.......another nod towards the frabil conservation net........although cranks get caught up in it more than I'd like.

Default Conservation style nets

Check out the new EGO nets http://www.egos2slider.com/

I also have the Frabil conservation net on an extension hand and really like it.

However, I really, really like the EGO 2 slider nets, You can custom design the net:
1. Choice of hoop size, netting material and netting shape
2. Choice of handle length.

I have two of the 29-60" nets - one with a fine-hole conservation mesh net and the other with the larger-hole conservation mesh net.

I like the one with the larger-hole mesh better as there is less resistance when using it for river fishing. Both work well in a lake.

PS I found them at Dick's and Gander Mt.

I have a conservation series 9512 net that I have been using since 2010. The net is great. I have had some unfortunate issues with the handles which Frabill stood behind. I really like the net and Frabill standing behind the product was good to see even though it was out of warranty.

I still keep a bigger stowmaster in the boat for when unexpected big catfish, pike or musky shows up.

Default Sorry

I've had two of the gold extension handle Frabil conservation series now and both of the handles came apart internally.

I do like the fact that the fish don't seem to get rolled up in it and tie themselves for 5 minutes.
Outside of my unfortunate handle issues the one drawback is the tight mesh catches a lot of water and adds resistance when landing the fish.
