Default Heads Up on a Great Deal on Downriggers

I've been shopping downriggers for a while and came across this sale. Just in case anyone is in the market, this is by far and away the best deal I have found. I just bought the Walker electric at 120.00 less than other retailers.

Marine general is an interesting place to shop, kind of horders gone wild, only with neat stuff to buy..

Was just up a couple weeks ago, staff actually advised us to get a different depth finder that the wife was looking at, got a better unit and GPS for about $20-30 more.

As much stuff as they have in such a smaller space, I'm supprised that they know where anything is, but they do, if you haven't been up there you should, great place to shop.

If you think this place is wild, you should really check out Algoma Hardware in Algoma, WI, just south of Door County. The place is a maze with lures and tackle. Always take out of town guest there and watch their eyes pop.

Default Wow!

I ordered my downrigger late in the day Wednesday and it showed up on my doorstep today! Very impressed by the expediency of the shipping. I was thinking I would be cutting it close to get it here to NM from MI before I go salmon fishing next Friday. Hats off to Marine General. Now I just need to figure out how to get it mounted on the boat.
