Default Lower unit damage covered?

Question for Bob or others who have had similar issue. Yesterday took out the lower unit on my verado 225(reata 2050) on an unmarked submerged rock. Is this something that may be covered on my policy? I am insured through Bob. Fortunately no one was hurt and was able to limp in with our kicker. I will give bob a call on Monday but thought I might put out a feeler today.

I also have my boat policy with Bob and I did the same thing you did a couple weeks ago. All I had to do was take some pictures of the damage, get an estimate for repairing the damage from my local dealer and email it to them. They looked it over the same day I sent it to them and I received a call back later in the day saying I will have a check with in a week. It doesn't get any better than that.

Thanks Fred

The price on a Verado lower unit is an impressive number. Hope I have a similar experience. Will let you know Mark
