Default Gavin's Point/Lewis and Clark

Anyone want to share a recent report of the fishing? Thinking about heading up there this weekend from Des Moines. Any help is appreciated as it'll be my first time there. Suppose to storm all weekend here and I need to get out!

Thanks, Nate

Default Storm?

Don't get me wrong, I need to get out of here too, but what forecast are you watching? I need rain, like everyone else in farm country and this is the only mention of "storm all weekend" I've seen. I hope your right.

About the fishing, my buddy has been pounding them at Francis Case and further up on Oahe. With the heat and therefore skiiers, I would move up one to the Case if the distance doesn't matter to you.

good luck. please rain

Focker is right, drive past Lewis and Clark or get ready to watch alot of pleasure boats and jet skis.

Thanks for the reports and PM's. I decided to change it up and headed to Lake Pepin in MN instead. See that fishing report post for info. I'm still planning on trying L&C at some point this summer so again, thanks! Nate
