The US was burned once when the USS Cole was hit by an explosive laden small boat. Rules of engagement have changed, you go charging toward a US ship in that part of the globe your going to pay the price. Whether the small boat in question was laden with explosives or not is irrelevant, it could have been a dry test run, who knows, you cant take chances when you are in that position. I agree...the boat was warned and no responce....Capt should have known on the smaller boat not to approach a vessle like that,..
