Get one of the conservation - coated flat bottom nets.
They work very well with very few issues with hooks getting stuck in the nets. I don't believe that any of the easy stow nets are coated, because the coating would not fit well into the handle. REW http://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shop...SELL_THUMBNAIL |

X2......... and while your at it you at it jigs, spinners etc. Manitoba has had this for 20 years or more. The fish I have lost because of this.....negligible........the aggrevation of tangled cranks in nets, far less. I went on a fishing trip to Ontario last summer. Fished with a barbed hook til I caught the first fish. After getting the hook out of its' mouth pinched the barb down. I knew it would drive me crazy and not do the fish any good if I continued fishing barbed.

Beckmans haven't caused me any lost time due to cranks, jigs, hooks, children, beer, food, turtles or anything else getting stuck in them.
I do know the Ego slider was redesigned after lots of breakage landing larger fish, appears that capt. spanky has a newer version now. Good to hear they improved the design! |

Use a rubber net and you'll never go back to anything else. I switeched several years ago to a rubber net and it was the best thing I ever did. You can use it for every kind of fishing technique out there. You won't be sorry.
