I bought Maxxis in that size and made the 3000 mile round trip to Canada without tire incident. But, if I had it to do over again I would have opted for the Kuhmo 857 in 205-75-14 size. It doesn't come in 215 size but the difference is insignificant and it comes in D load range with a much greater weight and speed rating.

This was suggested by Hot Runner Guy on the day after I ordered the Maxxis tires. I think his suggestion was spot on......only a day late!
