Yes it would be but in my case of a cd it is of no use to me in the boat. I'm so happy with the unit but if I need to have a laptop in the boat to refer to the manual it's not so handy

I sent HB a email on the manual, I can scan that in text I think and take out the parts I want, onenote I don't think will let me do that, just complete pages.

Ya, CD don't do much good if you don't drag a laptop a long.

I emailed them yesterday after I read this and they are happily sending me a hands on manual.

With OneNote you hold down the windows key while pushing the S key. That puts you into a copy mode, and you outline the portion of the screen you want to copy only. You don't need to copy full screens. You draw the borders around what you want to paste into a notebook.

Basicly taking a screen shot then only just doing a defined area?
Snipping might do that to I think.

Working on a convert program from adobe, I think that will give me text ability and not a picture, allows me to edit also...I think

Might just throw the manual they're sending in the boat and highlight the good parts too.
