Default End caps on roller shaft?

What is the best way to get an end cap off of the shaft that the rollers run on (other than GABH)?

Pry em off and buy new to replace, it's unlikely you can get it off without destroying it.

HI,
I use my die grinder and grind a slit in them and then they pop right off.

Always have a few extra caps on hand.

To install them, get one sitting on the end of the shaft. Then, holding a hammer on one end of the shaft, hammer the cap on the shaft. The hammer on the opposite end of the shaft keeps the roller where it needs to be while putting on the cap.

You probably need a helper for this. One to hold the cap while starting, and then the other two hands to hold the backing hammer and the pounding hammer.
