Default New style transom saver?

Has anyone used the new style transom saver that goes around the ram on the tilt & trim unit & how did you like it?

Default Not a transom saver

They are not really a transom saver, more of a Trim and Tilt saver. The weight of the engine is still on the transom, but not on the trim and tilt cylinder. They work great if the motor is all you want to protect. If you want to protect both the boat and motor you'll need to go to the tradition style that connects to the trailer.
