lund tiller's 18 & 20'

Anyone have experience with trolling in a 18 or 20' lund tiller? I am shopping and want to make sure my horsepower selection will troll down to 2.5 mph without a trolling plate. I also don't want to be grossly under powered. Lund only offers top speed data. Any advice?
