Still hot - picked three limits today, harnesses. Fish were 17-28".

Good numbers of fish are being caught all aournd the buoy area, almost a 4 mile radius.
The past couple days the 37.5/21.5 have been the hottest. Good reports also coming from as far south as the 35 line. I"m also planning to be out there Tuesday.

Hope I don't jinx, but haven't seen "the nets" in the area in quite awhile.

The "nets" have been out there my last two trips (7-29 & 8-3) as I nearly managed to troll into one on the 29th. We saw a commercial boat working the SE corner on the 3rd.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but, wasn't there a big thing years back to "buy out " the gill netters on Lake Erie ?

No way will the US ever buy out the canadain Gill netters. Those where Ohio Trap nets I saw a week ago ?
