Default Red worms in boat

The red worms I buy usually come in black dirt that sticks to the worm and my fingers. I would like to put them in a different medium for when I'm fishing so the boat doesn't get so dirty. Especially when I'm in someone else's boat. Buss bedding works well for crawlers but I'm not sure it is the best for red worms. Any good ideas on this?

When I take nightcrawlers fishing I remove them from the dirt/bedding and rinse them in distilled water to clean them off and put them in a cooler with a zip lock bag filled with ice covered with paper towels...

I take them out of the Buss ,wash them, put them in my yellow leech saver bag, and throw it it in the cooler for the day. When done I put the unused back in bedding. They stay nice and plump in the cooler.

Sassy bedding, NO BLACK DIRT in my boat! Sassy dries up and blows away...no water to fool with!
