All the ones I've shot and my budies have owned have not had any problems other than that they pattern terribly. If using them for self defense they patern fine at 5ft with buckshot but at 10yds with bird shot a rabbit stands a 50/40 chance of not getting hit!

i bought one with the 3 inch chamber and it is pretty accurate for me, but after owning for 4 days i noticed that the barrel wasn't on straight. i talked to a guy in the gun dept at Gander, when i had him send it in to be fixed, and he said it wasn't the first time he has seen the problem with the judge.

My buddy brought his to the skeet range just for fun. We only shot on stations 1, 2, 6, 7 & 8. Our scores were NOT good, but it was a lot of fun!

While backpacking in Grizzly bear country the past few years, I have run into a few horse packers wearing them. None had actually had to use theirs when I talked with them.
But, that seemed like a pretty good application for the Judge.

Really? A 410 against a grizzly bear? That's not my idea of a good use for it. If you're only carrying hot 45Colt loads in it for grizzly then why not carry a much more compact and more accurate 45Colt or 44 Magnum?

We took a Judge to the skeet range once. Stands 1 and 7 weren't bad, 2 and 6 were doable but the rest of the stands were almost impossible. Stand 8 was fun!

A couple of friends used them for rabbit hunting. I out shot-them consistently with my T-C Encore single shot. It could have been superior patterning, or my

Right... I hear ya.
Nothing really sounds too good for a Grizzly that's too close and P-Oed.
But... I can't think of much besides self protection it'd have an application for.
I was packing bear spray which doesn't require exquisite marksmanship... because I tend to shoot bad when my pants are filling.

So... that's my limited experience with the Judge.
The only times I ever saw Taurus Judges... was in the back country carried by Horse packers.

i don't know way people that the judge is not accurate. once i figured out where the rounds were grouping, was a little high and to the left. i compensated and now a can hit a tennis ball at 15 yds. that with and ammo i put in it.
