Hopefully my JOUT stock does well and I can afford this little gem in the spring...

Jason you need to put out a video on convincing wives that all these gadgets are worth shelling out more cash.

If Steve Jobs was a fisherman, he'd love these things!

I was out filming with i-Pilot Link over the weekend again. These particular segments were about something we've never been able to do with previous i-Pilot generations....control i-Pilot position and navigation functions right from the graph without any input from the remote at all.

Bringing together Humminbird fish finders and Minn Kota trolling motors with i-Pilot Link gives us access to boat control and navigational tools that we've only been able to dream about before!

I thought it was going to be under $500.00?

The current (non-linked) i-Pilot system comes in at ~ $450 for remote + control head.

The i-Pilot Link accessory carries an MSRP of $799 for the new trolling motor control head, new remote, networking cables, and charger for the remote.

Jason, what is the cost difference between buying a Terrova 80 I Pilot and one with I Link already installed?

I told my boat dealer I'd like to upgrade to the motor with I-Link but he didn't have any pricing yet for it.

Thanks

I haven't seen any pricing information for motors with pre-installed i-Pilot Link systems. I suspect it will be a little less than buying the motor and the i-Pilot Link accessory separately.

Cabelas has the link for sale with it being on backorder for the next 6-7 weeks. Anyone know when the Lakemaster chip will be out? I know it's the start of winter but with a certain payment choice at checkout anything over $900 is eligible for 18 months 0% financing....only reason I ask.

Crap....double checked and the 0% isn't offered at Cabelas, but original question still stands.....when will the chip be available?
