I too do not have a problem with my remote communicating with the TM from anywhere in the boat (22 ft center console)! I wear mine almost constantly around my neck! I actually was inside my house yesterday afternoon approx 50 feet from the boat and it operated the TM just like I was in the boat! I also am able to turn the motor any direction as little or as much as I want with no issue!

Like cny91583 said, I'd sure be frustrated if I had the issues some of y'all are having!! I think I'd be on the phone with MK's CS a dozen times a day till they took care of the issues!

trust me.... it is! it sucks! and nobody knows what the issue is... even went to my factory authorized Minnkota repair center and they are a bit baffled.

being out of warranty; I dont want to throw a ton of money at it as it is managable with the foot controls

I have none of the symptoms that you folks are referring to...thankfully. Something is not right with your Ipilot.

This is giving me hope! Thanks guys.

I'll see if I can just return it to Bass Pro Shops and try a new one.

I dont have one so I dont really know, but could it be rf interference from something else causing it ?

do you have livewell pumps etc running?

If so, maybe trying with them (or anything else) turned off and see if it helps?

I just had mine replaced on warrenty with what your experiencing. Touch the buttom and straight 90 degree turn. Replacement unit works just fine. Likely not what you wanted to hear.

I am not talking about that

I am talking about radio wave type interference, like from an electric motor, where you can hear it on an am radio

I have no idea, just throwing it out there
