Hello fishbookie: Friends returned on Sunday. They said fishing was about average. They use live bait for Walleye, crawlers and leeches. The largest Walleye was 25".They said the Walleyes were between 15 to 30ft. deep which was deeper than normal and the Walleyes had small bait fish in their stomachs which they believe the bait fish were in the deeper water thats why the Walleye were there. The largest Northern they caught and released was 44". They were on the weed beds. They used mostly top water lures. They stay at Wrights. Hope this helps. Good Luck O - R

Thanks outdoorsron I will use this to my advantage tha t's a nice walleye in a **** nice northern were they on the weed beds east of gull rock we've had some good luck there on the past. last year there really were'nt very many weed beds on the lake to much water if your buddies are willing to tell you were they fished for northern. let me know that this year would be awesome i haven't talked to anyone else that's been up there this year i guess they could have gone to Clay Banks there were weeds there last year
Anyway thanks for the knowledge I'll let my family know the scoop
Thanks
