Default Wow!!

And I catch heck for having a couple pairs of $250 Costa's!! If you're dumb enough to have $6000 sunglasses and then on top of that you lose them, sorry you're on your own as far as replacement, maybe next be a little conservative and only spend $3000!! Might want to get a rider policy if your worried about losing them.

I'm thinking they were $6,000 with prescriptions since this article mentions Oakley C6 at $4,000 per pair. http://finance.ninemsn.com.au/blog.a...wcomments=true

Holy smokes.....

"Robert Lang, from Melbourne, has become the first person in the world to pay US$4,000 for a pair of Oakley C SIX glasses."

...and fish02 became the first person in the world to pay $6000 for a pair of C6 prescription sunglasses.

WOW! Nice glasses though.

Honestly, if it were me, I can only imagine you had a GPS aboard your vessel if you can afford these glasses....I would have marked a waypoint, called up a local scuba diver and retrieved them! Or an underwater camera...been there, retrieved that!

I lost my $250 pair of Oakleys while riding my cycle. The car behind me crunched them. Lesson learned not to do that again. I never thought of insurance...could have saved $150. lol

They don't look much different than my Oakleys. Made out of different stuff, but you would think they'd have jewels on em or something. Only 200 pairs made and one of em is at the bottom of a lake.

You mean you didn't have to have a separate rider for them through your house insurance?

I guess you're a special customer to them, eh?

Glad they were covered. Let us see a pic of them when you get your new pair. I want to see what they look like on you.

I would suggest getting straps that are adjustable so they stay snug to the head when zipping across the water. I have some 200.00 Raybans that i've had for 6 years...and they still look like new and i wear them all the time.
