I just bought the do-it bullet jig mold and am going to start making bucktail jigs. Anyone have a favorite jig tail color combo for walleyes they would like to share. Would love to see pics of your favorite walleye bucktails.

Black bucktail on black jighead. White tail on red head. Chartreuse, green chartreuse, yellow, or orange bucktail on contrasting head. Jacquard acid dye to make your own colors from white tail...I save my tails and all my friends and family give me their tails, have never had to buy one.

Have any of you ever tried Cool-Aid to color your bucktails? I havent yet But I have used it to color the feathers on my arrows and I have had students use it to color there hair so I would think it would work on bucktail.
