Question Weights wrong?

I noticed this while l was watching

For example M Husky..151 inches.....30.9 pounds
R Blosser...152.5inches...29.97 pounds
How can he have more length and less weight

Justin schnieder....165.5 for....39.5pounds
Rick olson.....162.75......43.84 pounds

Or theres one with tied measurements and 2 differant weights

You can find this through out the field in the document on there site and like i said i picked up on it while watching

Whats Going On ??????

Sure does not look good

Weights are determined by length of each fish, so not all total lengths will have the same weight since each individual fish length could be different.

Default aim

Thanks I understand it now

Carry on aim

But they do like to calculate a pretty healthy weight for a 29 inch fish

Think of it as a points system instead of weight.

The lengths are also rounded up to the next .25 of an inch (Example: a 26" fish will be marked as a 26 1/4"...a 26 3/8" fish will be marked at 26 1/2"...) so the lengths are not totally accurate.

Default Weights wrong?

Thats the problem I see with CRR. The winner is determined by the most weight, but they do not actually know the exact weight of there catch. If a tournament comes down to a tie or ounces between winning or losing......well........we rounded the weights up. And you cant say we rounded up for everybody, because, some of my fish may have not needed to rounded up, when the next guys got to round up every one of his fish because they were border line. It just doesn't seem right. Maybe they should award there winner based on length and not weight.

Two 15 inchers will weigh about 2-3 pounds, a 30 incher will weigh 9-11 pounds.

I agree the totals should go buy total length
Because there weight formula is wacked theres no way some of those fish weigh what they say
noticed it at there other tourneys to
But hey those big weights sure look good on the web site

**** why not have no weights total lenght and no limits on fish just see how many feet of walleye you could catch in a day......I'd be in for that

The weights used are NOT AIM's estimates. ( how many times does this have to be said here? LOL) AIM uses a DNR approved/calculated length to weight ratio. Be critical to or of the DNR if ya don't like it or don't believe in it.
