Default McConaughy

Anyone been there recently? As stated in another post we are planning an end of summer 3 day weekend and would like to go somewhere with decent fishing.

I haven't fished there for a few weeks but I did watch the NWT Championship weighing on Saturday and all of the boats that I saw had heavy slabs or jigging spoons tied on. So I would assume they were targeting deeper water. The slabs looked like they were at least 1 oz to 2 oz. Maybe someone who fished the tourney will chime in and let you know what was working for them.

Thanks for the info. I have some pretty hefty jiggin spoons I use on Blue Mesa. May give it a try this coming weekend.
