Thumbs up First Time AIM Event as Observer

I attended my first AIM event as someone just watching from the stands. I have to say it is much better in person than online. They run a great event and I can see how the CRR format is enjoyed by the Anglers.

There is still a lot of growth that needs to happen to increase numbers from the averages that they have had, and show true value and exposure to the sponsors but they have some momentum. There is always this get more anglers and the sponsors will come, vs. get the sponsors and payouts up and the anglers will come dilemma. Either way they went with the build it and they will come, and I give them credit for running what appeared to be a very nice event.

I have quite a few people at my work that follow Walleye Central and have asked about the circuit and now I can share my observations.

I will stick with the FLW for a full circuit, but if I have time certainly will fish an AIM event or two in 2013 if I can, if nothing else to support my fellow anglers and Yamaha.

Thanks for sharing the experience AIM and continued best luck!

It was great to see you there Jimmy! It was a great event for sure and the fishing was nothing short of amazing. Minnesota literally has a Lake Erie type body of water on it's northern border!
