Default Ice fishing on Lake of the Woods

Making a trip to lake of the woods this winter--Can i get some ideas or thoughts about using a underwater camera--I have a flasher just thought a camera might help as well--also thoughts on using the camera and the extra light as a fish attractant at night

thx...

The water is usually too stained to use a camera effectively. The flasher will be a much more useful tool. You'll love it up there!

We brought a camera a few years ago.

It was passed around to different fish houses but no one used it for more than an hour.

The water is too stained.

Have not seen cameras used effectively there due to limited visibility. Go with a flasher

I also agree with the others...go with the flasher. The water is very stained. The flasher also helps find fish that might be suspended at depths you wouldn't catch with a camera (unless you were constantly going up and down the water column).
