My Tracker has a pretty high windshield, I never have to look through the top of it. (then again, I am only 5'-10".

It clears my garage door by only an inch or two (and I have a VERY low trailer)

Michael.

I have no problem with my Alumacraft Dominator, of course I'm only 5'7. Althought if the widshield was a few inches taller, it wouldnt fit into the garage

Default Too Tall

Being 6'5 the only boat that I have ever ridden in that I didn't stick out over the top of the windshield is my current 1989 Warrior. I can have the air ride seat nearly at the top and still see. I was looking at some G3 boats and the 164 f had a nice tall windshield...just an FYI for those who are not vertically challenged. I agree that most designers must be shorties lmao.

Consider the fit into a standard garage with a standard 7' door with an opening that could be less. Mine is 6'6" darn it. Give those design engieners SOME credit as they may have consdered garage fit.

Bingo!
Part opf it is safety, too. There are situations when there is spray or ice on it, or the windshield is fogged over... you only have to raise up a little to see over. The wind is deflected upward by the windshield...and that's the goal.

Yeah it seems kind of dumb at first glance, but there is some rationale for it.

PS- In my 2010 Explorer Sport I sit lower (Than some boats I have had)...and I always end up setting up...with one knee under me on the seat to see ...when the windshield is not clear.

Correct me if I am wrong. But a lot has to do with how deep the boat is inside. Mine is a alum trophy I am 6 2 but I sit below the windshield. My brothers lund impact I sit above. The windsheild looks the same size on both boats

Default Windshield Height

Superfishman 186 I was trying very hard to ignore your remarks but I just can't help but wonder how much thought you gave your stupid decision to post your unrelated remarks regarding my boats windshield height?
