So do you guys think the UV blast coating has made any difference in your catch rates? I have a jar of powder coat UV blast but have not used it yet. I am wondering if it's worth the effort to apply the stuff or not.
Does CS coatings have a web site and how do they compare price wise with others places like Janns etc? Thanks in advance for your oppinions. |

So another question on the UV blast.
I fished today with a buddy who has used this and he said to dip it in the jar, the stuff I got was WAY to thick to dip my spoons in. He said he was pretty thin, similar to cough syrup yet the jar I have is more like honey or just a bit thicker. did I get a bad jar? |

how much do you bake at a time? Could I load it with say 50-75 spoons and bake them all for 10 minutes, or should I go longer because I have a lot of lead in there?

I do metal spoons not lead but I do 50 - 100 at a time. I would just play around with small batches and test them to make sure it holds up.

JJ, Thanks for the baking tip, it seems to be working alot better now. The walleye did not rip the UV blast off, but I sure donated a few that were sealed today to the bottom of the lake.

JJ ,I may have missed it but what UV product are you using ? Is it a UV overcoat or a UV powder paint with a regular clear overcoat ? Thanks

I actually haven't tried the UV but do use the regular CS topcoat on blades and spoons.
