Default Lowrance 5200c Zoom

I have a 5200c and when I zoom it in it stays that way a few seconds and then goes back to like showing 60 miles any help would be appreciated. The unit use to stay zoomed in i think I may have turned something off. Thanks in advance Blue

If you are Navigating to a waypoint when this is occuring, then Press menu once, and look where it says "Auto Zoom" Page#80 in your owners manual. If this is checked, uncheck it. That is a feature that keeps your course in the picture.
If auto zoom is not selected, then remove a chip if you have one in it, and see if the problem still exists. ( Sometimes chips with too much data for the unit will make this happen as well.)
Furthermore, Ensure your unit has the latest S/W version How to see if your GlobalMap 5200C is already using version 2.5.0 software:
  1. Press the MENU button twice on your GobalMap 5200C.
  2. Select SYSTEM SETUP.
  3. Select SOFTWARE INFORMATION.
  4. The software version for your unit is located under the line that says "GlobalMap 5200C" (ex. "Version 2.5.0").
  5. If your version is the same version listed above, there is no need to download the software
2.5.0
