Do you fisherpeople using the Zercom LCF 40 like them? Anybody problems reading the signal. Pros and cons appreciated!

I have had an LCF40 for just a year now, but I have used it a lot. I put about 120 hours a year on my motor and I don't troll. I grew up using flashers, and while I like LCR's/LCD's, I still like the zercom flashers in areas with grass or weeds. I also like having it there in front of me when running hard. I like the instant readout. I ran my boat for a year without one and it drove me nuts. I won't be without one again. Good luck. |

I've been using one for the last 4 years. It's a good unit. When you learn to use a flasher, your graph will be only used for searching. When I see a fish on the flasher, I usually at least get a bite, if not catch a fish. I'm putting a Zercom indash in my new Tuffy and a pro series on the bow. I've been using flashers for over 15 years and I'd never be without one. Zercom makes a quality flasher.
