thanks for the report paul,
i knew that fishing could be good out of rogers but i just hadnt done that yet in the winter (fished the open water last spring once from rogers campground). its like 6 of one half dozen of the other as far as location goes. what is important is to be set up for a flurry right at dark, no matter how you pick the spot. i am impressed when people catch em during the day. thats not and easy thing to do. i catch those tiny perch during the day and thats about it. in late february and into march (for as long as the ice lasts) the crappies go all day long and they get even bigger. where do you stay, which motel...in shooks? curt quesnell |
