Went on saturday the 10th, and we got our 12 fish all trolling. Tried the weeds for about 3 hours, but nothing. The weeds we were in looked brown still with no minnows or anything in them. Water is still only 60 to 62 degrees, so maybe if we get a warm up, the weeds will turn on. We did catch alot of small perch from 4" to 8" long. We kept fish from 13" to 16" long. I usually dont keep them until they are 14", but I was with a work buddy who wanted to learn how to clean walleye. Plus we cleaned them and then we ate a bunch of them. Wow was it awesome. Fresh fish, bleeded them out as we caught them, what a difference. Oh ya we caught 80% of the fish on jointed rapalas. We also caught a ton of little walleye, so the future looks good.

Tom I was fishing on the south side of the lake, about 2/3 the way up from the state park. Anywhere from 16' to 22' of water. The fish were scattered all around. Lots of good marks, and all my fish came right off the bottom. Leadcore and jointed repalas in perch or gold/black did most of the damage. We tried early for 3 hours in the shallow weeds but nothing at all.
