Default Mosquito Lake

Went on saturday the 10th, and we got our 12 fish all trolling. Tried the weeds for about 3 hours, but nothing. The weeds we were in looked brown still with no minnows or anything in them. Water is still only 60 to 62 degrees, so maybe if we get a warm up, the weeds will turn on. We did catch alot of small perch from 4" to 8" long. We kept fish from 13" to 16" long. I usually dont keep them until they are 14", but I was with a work buddy who wanted to learn how to clean walleye. Plus we cleaned them and then we ate a bunch of them. Wow was it awesome. Fresh fish, bleeded them out as we caught them, what a difference. Oh ya we caught 80% of the fish on jointed rapalas. We also caught a ton of little walleye, so the future looks good.
