Default April Fool's at Spring Valley?

Ok guys, my assumptions would tell me that with the number of pranksters on the RCL tour there has to be some pretty good stories of pranks from today. I was wondering how many boats took off without drain plugs, without bow mount batteries, etc. etc. Lets here some of the pranks that were played. I would assume no one would go as extreme as what I have mentioned but there has to be stuff going on.

So lets hear about it.

My buddy had his compressor go out for the second time in 6 days. Also had a lower unit explode in between. Does that count.

The biggest prank was played at the gas station. There were a few boats that filled up with up to 20 gallons of water in the fuel tank. I know of some electrical problems and a blown engine too. The tech teams were quite busy.

When you ASSume something you run the risk of making yourself into the first three letters of that word. The word assume is most often used by someone attempting to explain why what they were doing turned out to be wrong. As to the content of your inquiry about the Spring Valley RCL it would seem a bit odd to most. However, there was indeed some vandalism done to at least one boat that made it into the top five after the first day. What was done took a working knowledge of walleye boats and set a bowmount up to be rendered useless the second day and not to be discovered untill on the water. While troublesome the vandalism did not stop that competitor from using his transom electric motor to make the Top Twenty cut. As to your reference hinting at April's Fool mischief and your mention of bowmounts in your post, I learned a long time ago from a friend who was a Chief of Police not to believe in coincidence when it comes to something going wrong. Maybe we will find out what you really know. I will be forwarding this post and a request to W/C for your IP address so I at least know who you are and who you associate with. Good luck. You may have some explaining to do.

I support you 100% on this action Mr. Harsh. Also believe that a few of the competitors themselves can be viewed as part of the problem. Criminal damage to property, deceit, theft, and subterfuge is the name of the tournament game for some of these competitors. If not them, then it is their cohorts performing at their direction.

The only way to root these guys out is to pass on any evidence a rightful angler may get, on to the tournament director, or on to the local police department should it be criminal in nature.

Far better for there to be 100 competitors doing the best to win the prize, than 170 - with an element of contestants trying to ruin his opposition's chances.

What are you talking about? The guy asked about trolling motor batteries.I for one have had someone un-plug me only to plug themselfs in.I would'nt do that but some do. I was down there for 2 weeks and never had a problem. The hotel I stayed at was packed almost every night. Pete what happened to your gear? I stayed at the same place and did'nt hear of anything happening.

As to any further details regarding the nature and extent of the vandalism done, they will remain confidential at this time. What was done was intended to take out a competitor out of the competition for day two as more valuble items in the boat were not taken. Reread the first post and my other reply. You missed something and also assumed it was my boat. I did not say who's boat it was.
