Default 7 inch unit on crestliner fishhawk

Hey guys, Im thinking of adding a 7 inch unit by the wheel on my fish hawk and was wondering if anyone has suggestions where to place and any pics. I'm thinking on placing it just to the right of the wheel where the factory unit was installed on a ram? I have a 5 inch unit in the centre on a ram, it just fits so I'm thinking a 7 unit will not. Thoughts?

Thx

Here is what I did works pretty well. Quick release makes it easy to remove, unhook wires and push button. You fish bigger water than me and would want to go up to the next larger mount. I have a 788 I am thinking about putting at console also. I have a new 858di to replace it at the bow.

I mounted a Humminbird 999 directly in front of the gauges. Its nice to be able to just move your eyes down quickly to view the graph instead of swivel your head every time you want to take a look. 2014 1850 Fish Hawk.

I have a 1750 FH w/ HB 898 and use this mount on the right open area of the console behind the windshield of what you see in the first pic of the thread.

Have the Ram gimbal mount like this:

http://www.rammount.com/part/RAM-D-111U

Nice because there is so much room for adjustments with the mount to get it just where you want.

Jtracc.. You didn't tell us what kind of counsel you have on your boat. If yours is like Ryan's boat, you can fit a HDS12 with a large Ram mount there.
