Default Warrior 1890 value/performance?????

What would you say is a fair price for a 1997 Warrior 1890 fish eagle with 90 hp mariner tiller? I'm in the market for a new boat and was set on Ranger but I think I may have found a good price on this Warrior. Also what kind of performace and big water ride will this boat have?

Default 1890 BT Warrior

Is that the one on craigslist? Figured it wouldn't last long @ that price. I have an '03-1890 BT w/F115 Yammi. Barring anything unforseen, it's probably the last boat I'll ever buy. I've tried all the rest and this old gal will do the same as any comparable new boat I've tried. It's a bit heavier than the new ones and might be a little slower in response time and top speed (38 @ WOT) but it's super stable, dry, great when the going gets rough and most of all, paid for. jerr

So your boat does 38 with the 115 or you think the 90 will roll at 38? How's getting on plane when it's rough and you have 3 in the boat?

Biggame,
I would think that this nice big boat would be doing about 32-35 with that engine on the boat.

I'm on my second one, I've ran them with a 90 honda, yamaha f115 and suzuki df140.
With either the f115 or df140 you can prop them to go in the mid 40's. 44 to be exact, but that's with lousy hole shot and poor rough water ride. Proped to the 38-40 range with one of a couple diff 4 blades, the ride and hole shot are much better, not to metion slower trolling speed with the big motor.
With the 90 honda and optimum pitch 3 blade you can get close to 40 empty and 34ish loaded into the big waves. Holeshot is adequate.
With that 90 2 stroke I can save you a lot of trouble looking for props and tell you a 20 highfive small hub is the overwhelming favorite on that combo. If you can find one.
Not long ago(within 2 years) those were still trading hands for around 10k. Let me know if you want more info. good luck

Bottom line what kind of shape does this boat have to be in to be worth $7700?

Dont know if you post a pic maybe we could guess. But for that boat and you can buy it for that and the motor is sound. Buy it.

I sold 1998 Warrior 2090 Tiller for $13,000.00 in 2007 with a 125 HP merc. And this was in the winter and a guy came up from Mpls and said if this guy that made the offer doesnt but it call me Ill buy it.

For a 1890 and its in good shape for under $10,000 go for it. Call me if you have any more ?
