Before you buy one have the sales person break it down while you watch. Browning Buckmark is one of the easiest to disassemble to clean. Get on YouTube, most of your questions will be answered.

Don't overlook Ruger's SR22 if your looking for a something with a more concealed carry feel. Fun little gun. My daughter has ran thousands of rounds of the cheapest junk shells I could get my hand on, without ever jamming.

Ruger Mark series is good, II or III, disassembly is something best to see be done first. Solid shooters.

The Ruger SR22 is a sweet shooting little gun, also an auto, but smaller framed and barrelled than the Mark series.

While the Sig may be a good choice, I've heard a LOT of folks say they are a very picky gun re: ammo choice. With some it functions well, with some, it's OK, with some, NOT AT ALL. No personal experience, because my SR22 and 2 different Mark IIs are too busy digesting everything I can lay hands on to feed them.

For a revolver, tough to beat the Ruger Single series revolvers as well, long term proven design.

If you like 1911 style semi-autos take a look at Ruger's 22/45 Lite. It is available with a factory threaded barrel.

Which model S&W did you have?

My mod 41 has well over a 100,000 rounds through it and has never been in for repairs.

I have replaced springs though.
Don't think I ever heard of a lemon 41, definitely possible though, as with any gun.

Here's the only picture of it I can find.
I bought it in the early 80's best I can rember to shoot Bullseye matches with.

What .380 and 9mm did you purchase? If the same manufacturer makes a .22 version it might be wise to look at it first. For instance if you purchased an M&P 9mm it might be a good idea to pick up the M&P22 which would allow you to practice with the same grip/sights while shooting a lower cost round.

If not the Ruger MKiii, Browning Buckmark, and S&W 22A are nice guns.

The 9mm is a Glock 19 Gen4 and the .380 is a S&W Bodyguard

They actually make a Glock 19 .22 Conversion kit I believe. Otherwise the other .22 pistols mentioned should work just as well. I own a Buckmark.
