Default New Browser, Problems

Just for grins dropped down Netscape 6.2. The first test of course is to come here. Went to change option to compressed and was presented the message 'Runtime error line 278 Error: Object Expected'. It then asked if wanted debug mode. Made no difference, a response could not be accepted, had to end the task via the three key.

Just thought would mention it.

Netscape 6+ still has bugs. Stick with 4.7 (no problems I know of) if you still have it

I had problems with Netscape 6.0 as well. Gave up fighting the system and went with IE 6.0. Haven't had any problems since.

I got tired of Netscape as well and switched to IE 6.0. I'm very satisfied with IE.

Mike, Firetiger,

That's what I have temporarily done. I will ultimately go back to 4.7 once I find my CD.

I have come to like IE kind of but have difficulty so far relating multiple profiles and just plain old operator error. It also seems to be the first hacker target for planting unwanted features.

Again all, thanks.

Im an IE fan. Get lavasofts program Adaware. Adaware gets rid of spyware programs. You can get it from the usual download sourses. It will get rid of all spyware programs. Also, the firewall program Zonealarm is first class, its free, also. If you need help, contact me at perchjerker1us@yahoo.com. I will be happy to help you out.
