Default Why is there no Opti 200 Pro XS 25" shaft?

I've been talking to an Alumacraft dealer about pricing for a Trophy 195. Max horsepower is 200 and I had wanted to go with a 200 Pro XS. Mercury makes a 175 and a 225 in a Pro XS with 25" shaft but only offer a 20" shaft for the 200 Pro XS. Apart from the fact that Mercury can do whatever they like, does anyone have any insight into why this might be?

Thanks

Thumbs up

I asked the same question a couple months ago when rigging my triton. I was told the 200 Opti was hot, more like 220 therefore no need for the 200 pro XS. The 20" shaft 200 pro XS is simple mercury marketing towards bass boat buyers.
I am very happy with my choice of the 200 Opti vs the 175 pro XS.
