I always buy mine here. http://www.takemefishing.org/fishing...FYjsKgodgEs7vQ if interested.
According to the dnr website you will not be able to buy a license...even online. Seems like this functionality should still work, but then again we are talking about the government here... so not surprising.

I know I will be fishing when the government is shut down and I am not buying ahead of time. Not my problem that both side of the corrupt lawyer politicians can't get their crap together.

There won't be state DNR around to check if you have a license.

no, they'll still be out there. not as much time on the water though, a lot of their focus will shift to patrolling the closed state parks.

You'd think they'd hardly pass up a chance to get tax payers money..but ya, it's been forewarned and you should have yours already if you didn't.

Freeway coming to work this morning was deserted, either we have a lot of people going early on vacation, or way to many people working for govt.

Have a great weekend all.

Too many people work for the government in Minnesota. I remember seeing the same thing the last time the gov. shutdown, and that was not on a holiday weekend.

Those that are comming in from out of state may not be aware of the situation.

If that is the case I would provide the resort owner an envelope with the exact funds required for a mn fishing license. then at least you have some fall back.

If you are a MN resiedent I think you'll be getting a ticket.
