Default connecting 9.9 kicker to 250

looking for proven suggestions how to connect steering on my 621 with yam 9.9 to yam 250 4 stoke. Had on old boat but didn't have hydraulic steering so wondering if it's the same sytem with a normal connecting rod? would like simple, reliable, inexpensive if possible

check out the Panther website. they have a steering bar connector?

These work great and inexpensive too. I leave mine hooked up all the time and no problems. I putt zip ties aropund each linkage so they dont come loose or rattle. Also changed the mounting bracket that hooks to motor from the stainless that was provided to a piece of angle iron that I cut. Much sturdier. The stainless piece did break and no problem now.

appreciate the advice. ordered one and came today. same system i had on my old rig. That worked great so don't see why this won't too. snowing here in WI today. i'm over winter
