They need to release the baits before the winter shows so people can get their hands on them

I heard June too. It seems like an odd time to release a new crank but I'm not in markteting.

With the hype these things are generating I don't think it will matter when they get released. Can't think of another lure that was so anticipated before it got released, great marketing job for sure

Here is the reasoning.....

ICAST, the premier showcase for the latest innovations in fishing gear, accessories and apparel is held in July. Most companies choose to introduce their new lures at ICAST and then release them shortly thereafter or the following year.

There is a huge industry buzz around ICAST. People are all excited about seeing the new products and innovations.

I watched an episode of "The Next Bite" yesterday. That is the lure they used. So, I searched for them on the net including the Berkeley site. Notta. So I went a step further and called Berkeley cust. service. The guy I spoke to said right off the bat mid April. Then I think he questioned himself and asked me to hold a moment. He came back on the line and reconfirmed mid April.

Just stating what he told me yesterday. We all know the guy could be mistaken but with him putting me on hold and then coming back and saying mid April I would think that is the case.
