The boat that went down speared a wave going with the wind. He went down on the way back in after the day had been cancelled. 2 hours after the lake went flat no wind. It was the coast guard that called the tournament.

Your wrong about one thing, the FLW director called the Coast Guard and requested them issue the call back as they have more powerful radios and could reach all the boats that were out.

A few pro's who fished the event state that the coast guard called the FLW requesting the call back due to the amount of distress calls recieved.
