I am a fan of powder paints. If you asked me two years ago I'd of said seal coat or aero dope clear gloss.

I have used the uv blast too but I dont like the dull finish.

Eraser on end of pencil for large circle. 1/8" dowel in contrasting color for pupil.
Also do-it stick-on eyes in glow or prism. Only do clearcoat on jigs with stick-on eyes, helps keep them on. On other jigs powder paint ends up with a nice gloss, seems like an unnecessary step. (I don't get too crazy with jigs, they get broke off in rocks or in Northern jaws long before the paint wears off) |

i like the prism eyes a lot. and to keep them from peeling off when a fish hits it, i put a skim coat of 2 ton epoxy over the eyes. the finish doesnt dull, or yellow.
