Default Eyecon Trollling/Bouncing Rod

Has anyone used this rod for trolling crankbaits or bottom bouncing yet. I am think about getting a couple of them. Do you think it is "soft" enough when used with a no stretch line like Fireline? Any reviews would be great. Thanks

I think that the eyecon would be fine for a bottom bouncer, but too heavy for crank bait fishing.

For crankbait fishing I would go with the premier in the 7 foot ml version at the same price as the eyecon.

Or, even better in the casting rod version, the 7'm - which is a moderate action rod that is actually better for crank baits than a fast tipped rod.

Take care
