Default trailer advice - prestige?

Have a 1998 Ranger 692 boat - 18'9". came with a tandem axle yacht club trailer, not in the greatest shape anymore. found for sale in my area a single axle prestige trailer. pretty sure it will fit the boat. does anyone have any experience with prestige trailers? are they pretty good quality? would it be worth buying? it is used - in good shape. any idea the value of something like that?

also any idea how to get rid of the old one? wish i hadnt just put new rubber on it.

Even tho the trailer fits your boat, it absolutely must be load rated high enough to carry the the boat and everything in and on it.

I had a Prestige trailer under my 2007 Lund Explorer 1700. The trailer was GREAT. Didn't even realize I was towing anything. The thing you need to be aware of is the Prestige was a CUSTOM trailer. This means the bunks and their placement were designed for a certain hull configuration only. Unfortunately, Prestige closed their doors around 2010. I believe they were bought out by Heritage. You could try calling Heritage with the VIN of your trailer and they might be able to advise you if your Ranger would work on that trailer.

Trailmaster Customs may be another one to consider.
