Not on a 621... but my buddy has a 21' Champion with the 350 SCR.
Amazing power! he can hit 73 mph on calm water days.

Probably not a lot of 621's with the 350 on them since the hull is only rated for a 300 hp motor. Most people wouldn't want to risk voiding the hull warranty i would think.

Nice I didn't realize that they were changing it for 2017!
That's awesome. It needed to be done, I wonder is the 620 rated for 300hp now?

Anyone getting one will be very happy. They are a powerhouse!
My 620/250 Verado combo is awesome. The 621/350... I can only imagine!

Whoever gets one on the water please post some results... and pictures so we can all drool!

I heard from one owner he was seeing mid 60's tournament loaded empty livewells and full windshield. 621fs. 23.5" bravo LT prop. Ordering a 22.5" bravo LT for mine for best possible hole shot.

If she clears 60 fully loaded up with a good hole shot fast enough for me! That is as fast as I want to go in a boat. Traded in my 2015 620VS with a vrod 250. Loaded she ran around 56-58. Empty 58-61 depending on chop and wind.

Xavier is running a custom prop on his rig too. A 24 or 25P if memory serves me correct

I just bought a 2017 Ranger 621Fs with the Verado 350sci. It's not that the hull is different. It is still only rated for a 300hp engine. However it is rated for the Mercury 350 Verado SCI because that engine is actually the old 300hp Verado with a super charger on it to deliver the extra HP. If you look at the ranger specs page, you will see the 621fs maximum hp listed as and I quote "300hp (except Verado 350)" Mercury has an internet page out about the development of the 350sci that is very good reading. It was developed by and is built by Mercury Racing.

I just bought mine but I haven't had it out on the water yet. I bought it from Vics Sports center in Kent Ohio. I will try to come back and let you know about the performance. I have a buddy that also bought one a couple of weeks ago and he took it out with 4 people and got up to 63mph. He thinks he might gain more speed by adjusting the Jack Plate.

the 350 is an electronically limited 400.

the 250 is an electronically limited 300.

all vrods are supercharged. the 250/400 use a 2.6l block.

what is different between the 250/300 and 350/400 vrods?

1) the supercharger is water cooled allowing for higher boost pressures. colder air is more dense - thus more 02 for combustion
2) new flywheel cover - better heat dissipation
3) optimized guide plates
4) new camshaft profile
5) new valves
6) new, reshaped cylinder head
7) new intake snorkel
8) elimination of onboard fuel filter

So the 350 is more than just a 300 with a supercharger. they all have superchargers. the 350 mechanicals can push 400hp. Just like the 250 can push 300.
