That's my boat and I love it. Converts to casting, trolling, water sports in 3-4 minutes. Big rear casting deck. Not as wide as some others, but wide enough. Fishing 4 a little tight, but manageable. Fishes 3 comfortably. I use mine in Canada, Green Bay, and near shore Lake Michigan. With a 135 Optimax, it jumps on plane right now. Yanks the skiers out of the water. Easily pulls two at time. Salmon, Walleye, Bass, Crappie. Very versatile.

LUND

ALUMACRAFT

CRESTLINER

STARCRAFT

TRACKER

I currently have a Starweld 18 by STARCRAFT.
This boat replaced a LUND 1650 Fisherman.
I never looked back. Attention to detail goes to LUND.
STARCRAFT is underrated and nicer than some of the others.

War Eagle are made in Monticello AR by Team Ward, (Ward family). Been building them since 1992.

Right on about StarCraft, I have a Lund 2010 ProGuide, very happy with.
If I was looking for a new boat, which I'm not, I would look at a StarCraft, Lund and Crestliner. My cousin has a 16 foot StarCraft that we take every year to Canada for 15 days and I love that boat. Just a 16 foot tiller deep V but very reliable.

1.Starcraft
2. Lund
3. Alumacraft
4. Crestliner
5. Starweld

In aluminum boats I've owned 4 Starcrafts, and 2 Sea Nymphs, so my opinion is based on how the various brands ride when I see them on the water- and their pricing vs features for overall value to me. Lund is number 2 with me because they are quite expensive- more than I want to pay- although the IPS hulls do ride nice and high on plane for a dry ride in the rough...like my Starcrafts. Just my humble opinion.

I think it's the other way around... Smokercraft/Sylvan are build by Starcraft. I think.

Don't really hear much about PolarCraft. Wondering what people's thoughts are about them. They look like nice rigs.
