WE are going to fish Eagle. WE fished it last year but still a learning curve ice vs open water. Bringing Polaris ranger and hope I don't fall on my butt. Getting old isn't that great.

We have a cottage on Lyle rd. Have thought about going to Cedar and even renting a cottage there. Its hard not to want to fish and stay at Eagle. I have heard fishing is tougher on Eagle compared to others in winter.

Eagle is good for walleye.but usually a real early bite or late bite.either one i dont like.lol.by the time you come the deeper bite will be over and theyll be moving toward there spawning areas.most people will be fishing close to osborne bay by the bridge.gets crowded.cedar is mostly evening bite.but i go for crappies tgere mistly and i fish cliff forctrout and walleye.its nice and peacefull there..

Ya makes a long day with early and late bites. Maybe should think about crappie or trout.

There is some trout movement into your end but its not fast.lots of bass on the humps and pissibly some walleyes as well during the day.i catch walleyes al summer long so not that interested myself during winter.them crappies taste pretty good to and theres lots of 10-12"fish.not much smaller than tge 14-16" walleye i like to eat.and i can take 15 during daytime hours plus some walleye here and there and pike.no brainer.heres a solo trout trip a couple of days ago and a crappie day

Had the pleasure of fishing Armit and Miniss , last couple of years. Good times and great fishing!

Default Gone Fish'in

2 days and counting before a trip to the North Georgia mountains to chase the ever elusive walleye with Camoclad and JKaup for a couple of days. I'll be sure to put out a trip report on how the trip went, but I'm looking forward to some fishing, fun and a lot of laughs with a couple of fellow WC members.
