Default Ranger FS rubber floor

Does anyone have a lot of use on this new floor material? How does it hold up? Trying to decide whether to order carpet or not. I know it hasn't been out long, but any insight would be great. Thank you

Definitely get the snap in carpet. After one season, the rubber flooring was stained, and always looked dirty, even though it was clean.

I'm very anal about keeping my Ranger clean, and it bothered me all season that it was looking dirty.

This year's Ranger has the snap in carpet.

I went one more step. Ordered the snap in carpet then went to a local Mat Crafters Franchise and had them make me a custom fit heavy duty cockpit floor mat using my snap one as a pattern for a matching replacement carpet(Entrance mat) Looks great, easy to remove and power wash, and about 1/2 the cost of the Ranger carpet. Took a lesson from a local guide, The Griz. He always had additional protection on his guide boat floors and there was always a waiting list to get his used boats. When I traded my older Ranger for the 620FS the dealer didn't even have to look at mine because he knew it was in top notch condition, just asked what I wanted for it.

Maybe there is some kind of sealant that could be applied to the new FS rubber floor to keep it from staining?

I agree with Juls, although not specific to Ranger. I recently ordered a Yarcraft and was going to get the rubber floor they offer. They had a new boat in the showroom with the rubber floor, and it already looked dirty. I decided not to order it, I hate a dirty looking floor. I just ordered a darker grey top cap with the standard flooring.

I fished in a Ranger last summer, 2016 model year boat, and thought the rubber flooring looked like crap, and that was just midsummer.

Doesn't the flooring have recommended cleaning procedures from Ranger?

Nope...I called them about it. But, that was two years ago, so maybe they have something now.

Nothing I tried worked.

Ranger made a big deal out of this new flooring when it first came out. You would think they would have also figured out how to keep it clean. Thanks.
